Liverpool. Apparently while the the sky was blue the wind was also keen to make its mark especially in the last four miles I understand. Well our biggest shout out must go to John Hudson who crossed the finish line in an amazing time of 02:48:44, was the 6th Male to finish and was second in the M35-39 age group. Shaun Cleworth ran a fine 03:24:20 while Antony Jackson (03:44:14) and Louise Jackson (04:14:04) both achieved PB's in this event. Antony by a creditable 4 mins and Lou by an amazing 38 mins. Well done to you both. Trevor Potter, running in the M65-69 age group, completed what I understand was his first ever marathon in 05:39:26. Well done Trevor I know all the work you put into training for that.
In the Half Marathon I have the following results: Lucy Ring(02:06:15), Kate Moore (02:16:52)Angelika Reichstein (02:19:30).A PB by 00:01:40, Stephen Pizey (02:43:05), Rachael Pizey (02:44:04)

Edinburgh. by the sound of it this marathon was not the best weather wise to pick as your first marathon attempt. However Shaun Copland did just that, reporting that it was 'raining hard from the start' and 'a strong headwind to top it off' Shaun also reports in his Facebook post that he ran through pain and injuries so his recorded time of 3:45:43 is brilliant, especially as it is just a training run for an Iron Man Italy! Juiz Williams crossed the line in 3:30:37, Stephen Moseley in 4:01:22, Rob Coates in 4:30:15 and Marianne Armstrong in 4:48:10. Well done to all of you running a race in tough conditions.
In the half marathon Tina Moseley finished in 2:19:10 and Jen Englis in 2;37:04. Just as tough for you but an earlier hot coffee ( or a Whiskey?).
