A Wet, Muddy and Fun Series of three races in the Horsford Woods.
The Horsford Cross Country series is a set of three races in the picturesque Horsford Woods. Hosted over the winter months (December, January and February), this down and dirty race offers plenty of thrills - lots of mud and obstacles - around a scenic woodlands course. Beware of tree roots and muddy puddles!

All three races start at 10am.
There is no online entry before the race, nor is there any postal entries. Entry is on the day only, and available from 8:30am to 9:45am. Please bring the correct change with you.
The race is based at a small parking area along Haveringland Road, Horsford. The address for your sat-nav is NR10 4BZ.
There is parking along Haveringland Road and in small car parks just off the road.
The course consists of a single loop with a small run from the start and back to the finish. The course can vary slightly depending on the conditions but it typically works out around 1.2 miles per lap.

Awards are given out for series performances. There are no individual race awards.
Award categories are both Male and Female for:
Awards are given after the third race. The race's director, Mick Powell, will arrange for these to get to their winners - they are not presented on the day.
The race results will be published on this website as soon as possible after the race. The race is not chip timed and is timed manually, so may take a few days to be published.
